April 26, 2016, Philadelphia, PA – Security Risk Advisors will be presenting at the 2016 FS-ISAC Annual Summit on May 4th, located at the Loews Miami Beach.
Antonio Crespo, Consultant at Security Risk Advisors, and Vas Rajan, CSO of CLS Bank International, will be discussing the “Ransomware Resilience Playbook:”
The impact of Ransomware can range from being merely a nuisance to causing significant production downtime, depending on how well you PREVENT, DETECT, and RESPOND. We will discuss the common challenges faced while fighting ransomware and offer a multi-tiered strategy to reduce the attack surface, minimize the blast radius of an infection, and insulate critical systems. We will present actionable technical recommendations, critical success factors for communication and reporting, and discuss how the principles of a Ransomware Playbook strengthen overall resilience in critical production environments.
Antonio Crespo is an incident responder with security controls architecture expertise. His current focus is on endpoint security and he has recent experience battling and containing ransomware in various environments.
Vas Rajan is a Security professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. As CISO of CLS Bank he is charged with maintaining the Security posture of the company in accordance with all requirements of a Financial Market Utility which has been designated as Systemically Important by the US government. Prior to CLS, Mr. Rajan was the CISO and Privacy Officer of a major US based retail bank and brokerage. Mr. Rajan is a distinguished speaker on the topic of security, having presented at major industry events such as RSA and Gartner.
