May 7, 2018, Philadelphia, PA – Security Risk Advisors will be presenting at the National Health ISAC 2018 Spring Summit on May 16th, located at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
Mike Pinch, Director of Threat Management at Security Risk Advisors, will discuss the steps Providers can take to develop their medical device security requirements, build and implement foundational controls. Mike will highlight unique opportunities and responsibilities that Payers have to help protect patients. He will then discuss advanced but achievable controls including what may be coming around the corner with the introduction of the Medical Device Behavior Information Act of 2017, and how medical device behavior can be monitored as part of a CyberSOC capability.
Mike is nationally recognized as a leader in the field of information security, and frequently speaks at security and health care conferences. He has provided input into the development of national standards for health care and public health sector cybersecurity frameworks.
